Shipping & Returns

We roast to order in Houston, Texas. That means your coffee is roasted within days of you placing the order — but it also means we ship on a roast schedule, not the second the order hits.
How we ship
- Carrier: USPS Ground Advantage (default). Faster options at checkout when available.
- Cost: Flat $6.99 shipping. Free shipping on orders $50+ and on subscription shipments of 2+ bags.
- Where: United States only at this time.
Roast schedule
We roast Tuesdays and Thursdays. Orders placed by 8 PM CT on roast day go out the following business day. Orders placed after that ship on the next roast cycle.
Once shipped, USPS Ground Advantage typically delivers in 3–7 business days inside Texas, and 4–7 business days elsewhere in the contiguous U.S.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions ship on your chosen cadence — weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, or every 8 weeks.
- Free shipping when your shipment includes 2+ bags.
- Pause, skip, swap coffees, or cancel any time from your account portal.
- If a card fails, we'll retry and email you. After multiple failed retries, we may pause the subscription.
Local pickup
Houston customers can arrange roastery pickup from Rice Military. Email hellospurcoffee@gmail.com after placing your order and we'll set up a window.
Wrong address, missed delivery
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or undeliverable address, we'll reach out. You're responsible for the cost of reshipping. If the package goes missing in transit, contact us and we'll work with USPS and make it right.
Damaged or wrong order
If your bag arrives damaged, defective, or you got the wrong coffee, email us within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We'll replace it free of charge or refund you — your choice.
Returns
Coffee is a perishable food product, so we generally don't accept returns of opened bags. That said, if you're not happy with what you got, we want to know. Email us within 14 days of delivery and we'll work it out — a replacement, a different coffee, or a refund. We'd rather have a happy customer than win a cup-of-coffee argument.
Gift cards and merch
Gift cards and any branded merchandise are non-refundable but can be exchanged for product credit. Defective merch can be replaced within 30 days.
