Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Spur Coffee Co. website at spur.coffee, our online store, and our subscription service. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Spur Coffee Co. is a small-batch specialty coffee roaster based in Houston, Texas.

Orders and payment

• Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize the charge for the listed total plus shipping and any applicable taxes.
• An order confirmation is not a guarantee of acceptance — we reserve the right to cancel orders we can't fulfill (out of stock, suspected fraud, pricing error). If we cancel, we'll refund you in full.

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the cadence you select (weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, or every 8 weeks).
• You can pause, skip, change your coffees, or cancel at any time from the account portal or by emailing us.
• You'll be charged on each ship cycle. Subscriber discounts apply automatically.
• Subscriptions on hold for 90+ days may be canceled by us with notice.

Shipping, returns, and damaged goods

Shipping, return, and damage-claim terms are detailed on our Shipping & Returns page and incorporated into these Terms.

Wholesale and events

Wholesale and event services are governed by separate agreements that take precedence over these Terms when they conflict. Inquiries through our contact forms are not binding orders until we send a written confirmation or invoice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site to violate any law or third-party right.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, or scrape the site beyond ordinary browsing.
• Submit false or misleading information when ordering, subscribing, or contacting us.
• Reverse-engineer or copy the site's code, content, or design without permission.

Intellectual property

The Spur Coffee name, logo, branding, photography, copy, and site design are owned by Spur Coffee Co. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

User-submitted content

If you post a review, photo, or testimonial (including by tagging us on social media), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce that content in our marketing materials, with attribution where possible. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

Disclaimers

The site and our coffee are provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the site will be error-free or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spur Coffee Co.'s total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or any order is limited to the amount you paid us for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Spur Coffee Co. harmless from any claim arising out of your misuse of the site or breach of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
